Cheerocracy For Me Thanks!

I saw a review once of a group in in calling it a “Cheerocracy“. And I was a bit offended.

I sat with it for a while because I don’t usually get offended, Usually I just shrug and move on but obviously something kept annoying me. And also – it was a male author commenting on a predominantly female and gender open group.

And you know what? What sort of bullshit is it to be dismissive of the way others run their groups? Why do they think a cheerocracy is a bad thing? Don’t we deserve some cheering from people doing the same growth and development? Why is being happy and puting effort into being happy a thing of derision and scorn?

I’m trying to learn something new here, and do something new too. Moping about it in silence has never worked so far, so time too try being open and cheered? Shit. Fucking. Yes.

By the way don’t forget my Leonie Dawson Accountability group starts this weekend! Click here for more info: Work With Me
